Its is a good App, but still missing features i am used from Stanza, like thumbnail of bookcovers in the library (all my epubs from Stanza dont show the thumbnail anymore :(). And i am also missing very much the overview how much i have already read of certain books and that books i have already read should move to a categorie "already read" like in Stanza. If these features will be added i will give 5 stars for this app.

While this update is nice, it doesnt really address my concerns: - Additional book formats are useless to me - ePub is the industry standard and I convert everything to that. - OPDS support already worked properly on correctly implemented catalogues The good: - ePub compatibility fixes. Unfortunately, book covers *still* arent working for me. - More configuration options. I can see the developers are on the right track but they still have to go a long way to get even near to Stanza, the de-facto standard for iOS ebook reader software.

Very Good App for my ebook Library, BUT pdf reading needs improvements! Turn pages function, jump to page function and other reading tools as known from goodreader. I only mean improvements for reading of pdfs. Just give pdfs the same comfortable reading as for epubs an its perfect! I hope of this with ne next update. One other nice thing would be a better import from calibre with possibilites to chose the complete catalog and a sync-function for calibre.

For epubs perfect... But I miss cbr and cbz support like stanza. Please add this fileformats the I will give 5 Stars

One more stanza-Fan who successfully adapted to this ebook-reader. Thank you for this great app. For me personally, Id prefer the app-brightness-setting to be unattached from the general brightness setting! Update: thanx for continuing to improve Shubook! The change to the brightness setting however made things worse - for me at least. Now the lowest setting available is still way brighter than before. Too bright for me at least. Any chance to further improve this? Greets and thx once more. It already is a great ebook-reader-app.

Vetter than iBook

Its a good program for reading Chinese books. I really like that it can convert simplified chinese to traditional chinese. One minor flaw...there are "lines" between the lines when reading text in vertical orientation. It is very annoying. I hope the author will give the option to eliminate the "lines" in the next update.

Seems difficult to login...love the huge selections of books!!!

Ive tried adding epubs and mobi files in iTunes and they dont appear in the library.

Its an amazing app with so much capability once you figure out how to get ePubs on it. I put them on Dropbox first then went into the download section in the app, selected Dropbox, connected it to Dropbox and downloaded each ePub one by one. Once you get the iTunes transfers working itll be a fantastic app; a perfect replacement for Stanza~!

works great, fantastic replacement for stnza, which appears to be broken. does some things better, including importing books directly from my gmail. plenty of free book options. note that i paid for the 1.99 upgrade as an in-app purchase.

I bought the package A, and it worths every penny. There are great features like: free ebook sources, conversion between simplified and traditional Chinese, display vertically, and 10 extra fonts for Chinese. The main problem I have with this app is when displaying in Hei（ 黑体）font, everything looks fine. But when changing to other fonts such as Kai (楷体), Song (宋体), or Li （隶书), the title is not bold as it should be, but looks like a regular font with a shadow. There is one minor problem relating to the conversion between Simplified and traditional Chinese. For example, 乾坤was converted to 干坤. Overall, I still rate ShuBook 5 star as it exceeds my expectation in many aspects.

This ereader blows the competition out the water. It is the perfect replacement for Stanza. The only thing I cant do is alter the night mode text colour which will no doubt come in a later release hint hint. I have the free version but upgrade using the in app purchase. Excellent work!

Perfect replacement for Stanza, with even more features and customization. Try this and you will not be disappointed. Well worth the in app purchase. In fact, I would happily pay ten times that for such a good e-reader.

If you like Stanza then you should like this. There are a few differences though. To import ebooks through itunes you need to buy "Package A" for 2.99. You can import them through another app like iFiles but you cant rename them without the "package a" upgrade.

Love this app. Please add a page turn scrolling mode to make it five stars.

Im find the app very useful and it works well but for some strange reason, there are ads in the app although I paid for it. I cant turned the ads off. Super annoying!

Crashes trying to download from OPDS.

Good app. The only problem - latest version (02.2013) has quite hi luminosity. And it forgets color settings when I reach every next chapter of the book.

"Format errors" when I try to open books.
